Phillips 66® Form Release Oil 226 is a ready-to-use concrete form release oil developed for use in applications that require a mineral oil-based release agent. It is specially formulated to provide easy form removal and smooth concrete finish by preventing the buildup of concrete on metal, plastic, or wood forms. It is particularly recommended for use in the manufacture of precast concrete panels, structual units, and prestressed bridge beams. Form Release Oil 226 is specially formulated to provide clean, quick-release characteristics while leaving a smooth, stain-free finish. It provides excellent rust and corrosion protection for metal forms, and has a very low odor and high flash point. For best results, it should be applied to clean, dirt-free surfaces. Form Release Oil 226 does not need to be mixed or diluted prior to use. It may be applied by brush, mop, roller, or spray. Application rate will vary, depending on form type and application. When properly applied to various forms, this product can cover 500 - 2000 square feet per gallon. Form Release Oil 226 complies with regulation of VOC emissions from architectual coatings as defined under Section 183(e) of the U.S. EPA Clean Air Act. It has a VOC content of approximately 90 grams per liter, meeting the requirement of less than 450 grams per liter.
